Tom was raised in the New York City area. In addition to studying at The Actors Center (NY), he is a graduate of the Two-year professional training program with William Esper in New York City. His TV/Film credits include: Jersey Girl, Shot in the Heart (directed by Oscar nominee, Agnieszka Holland), Clan McCormack at 2008 Cannes Film Festival, "Six Degrees" and "The Human Giant" Regionally, he worked for many years in Philadelphia where he garnered a Barrymore Award nomination. He is the composer of three children's musicals. Trivia: Tom was voted the friendliest guy in his high school class.
